Scholarship Application Form
The Friends of Goose Pond Conservation Careers Scholarship is offered to students pursuing an undergraduate degree in an area of natural resources, environmental science, ecology, wildlife/conservation biology, or a related field, and who have successfully completed at least one full year of undergraduate studies.
The $1,000 scholarship is awarded annually with the possibility of renewal for three consecutive years.
The successful candidate must be a resident of Greene, Clay, Daviess, Knox, Lawrence, Martin, Monroe, or Sullivan counties in Indiana, and enrolled in a Higher Learning Commission regionally accredited Indiana college or university (click to make sure your institution is on the list).
Eligible candidates must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 at the completion of their first year of formal academic study to apply. Students must maintain a cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA and receive no lower than a C in any one required majors course in order to be eligible for renewal.
The scholarship may be used for tuition, room and board, books, technology, required fees, or other college related expenses, at the discretion of the recipient and with the approval of the scholarship committee.
